Customized furniture packaging, storage and delivery process

Customized furniture panels are generally packaged in cardboard. Panels are integrated and packaged according to size to save space. A single piece of furniture or a single batch of furniture may have multiple paper packages. The complete customized furniture packaging includes: cabinet package, door package and matching hardware package. Because the structure of the door is relatively complex and it is difficult to assemble on site, the door needs to be packaged as a whole after production.
The specific process of customized furniture panel packaging is as follows:
1. Select the paper skin according to the size of the panel and cut out the appropriate paper package. Since the size of customized furniture is not like traditional mass-produced furniture, which has a fixed specification of packaging box, each paper package needs to be cut separately. There are two ways to cut paper packages: manual and machine. Manual cutting is more flexible and convenient, but the packaging is not as neat and beautiful as automatic cutting by machine.
2. The cabinet packaging content is mainly panels. Pearl cotton is laid flat between multi-layer panels to prevent friction between panels. Pearl cotton is placed on the side of the panel and wrapped around the panel for a week.
3. When multiple small-sized panels are arranged in one layer, auxiliary foam needs to be placed in the gaps between the panels to prevent collision.
4. The corners of the package need to be plugged with corner plugs made of cardboard to prevent collision with the corners of the panels during transportation.
5. Use tape to wrap the paper package tightly and seal the ends and gaps.
6. Hardware packages are generally placed in a suitable space in the package and fixed with tape. If a single piece of furniture has multiple paper packages, the hardware accessories package can also be packaged separately.
7. Paste the logistics label on the end of the paper package. Large sliding doors and swing doors produced separately are generally packaged after cutting with thicker pearl cotton and wrapped with tape. After packaging, it is transported to the warehouse together with the cabinet paper package.
In panel furniture, large-area curved parts are generally rarely used, and local board bending can be processed by slotting and bending. V-shaped grooves or U-shaped grooves are evenly processed on one side of the plate along the vertical direction of the bending axis, glue is applied on the grooved surface, pasted to the thin plate, and molded and bent. After curing and forming, the edges of the plate are sealed. Another method is similar to the grooving method, which is to cut the plate into small pieces for molding, gluing and bending.
